The 424 MKII Preamp takes its inspiration from the raw and grimy distortion texture and broad EQ control from a classic cassette 4-track recorder preamp.
We’ve expanded the versatility of this circuit by adding a bypassable buffer that drastically changes the gain and character of the pedal.
