Every second warp thread are held in the holes of the rigid heddle. When weaving, warps in the holes can be lifted above and lowered below warp threads in the slots. The 4 dpi Rigid Heddle can weave up to an approximate 18 cm width. Other small Rigid Heddles made by other manufacturers can be used on this weaving frame. The loom easily assembles and dismantles to a small size for storage. Included is a Rigid Heddle, frame sides, frame front, square back stick, a shuttle and two warping tools, small screw driver.
Weaving is held in place by the front clamp, which also tensions the warps. Warps are stored on the back stick which can be removed, rotated and replaced to advance the work forward.
